"you can move yourself around in a continuous loop was the result of my participation in sqw:lab 2018. during this week I took fragments of what people voiced as integral to their artist practice and constructed from these a framework through which to approach looking at the personal art collection of our host. the resulting texts - typed on a faulty typewriter that kept skipping - raised questions about the value and accuracy of historical and personal memory, the experience of  'gaps' or arrested time, public versus private domains and small post-colonial economies in the public and domestic sphere. ​
